As independent scouts for agents and publishers, we are constantly on the look-out for fresh talent. We keep an eye on current trends in publishing, so that we are able to give you professional, market-based advice to improve the quality of your work.

We can identify the strengths and weaknesses of your manuscript, and assess your chances of getting into print with both mainstream and independent publishers.  

You may be writing a novel for the first time. Or you may have experienced rejection after rejection. Publishers and literary agents seldom have time to give you guidance. We will give an honest and realistic appraisal of your work to point you in the right direction.

Where we are convinced that work is of a publishable standard, our Consultancy will recommend manuscripts to literary agencies or publishers on your behalf.  In this way, we can help you to short-cut the slush pile. You should also receive a swift and personal response, rather than waiting several months for a standard photocopied rejection letter. We can also take the embarrassment out of follow-up calls to agents and editors about your work.
